PPA ADOPTS NEW SEAL
Parole and Probation Administration has a new seal.
The Office of the President through Executive Secretary Paquito N. Ochoa, Jr. had approved the new official seal of the Parole and Probation Administration (PPA) which was earlier submitted to the National Historical Commission of the Philippines for endorsement and registration.
The new seal that was conceptualized and finalized during series of executive conferences attended by all regional and assistant regional directors of the Agency depicted significant changes in the PPA over the 35 years of its existence.
Notable changes in the features of the new seal were the seventeen (17) spokes of the wheel which represents the Central Office and the sixteen (16) regional offices of the PPA, the glowing yellow background of the inner wheel signifying the brighter future of a rehabilitated offender and the strong Manila hemp cord which denotes the membership of the Agency in the Department of Justice family.
