FUND RAISING PROJECT TO BENEFIT PPA CLIENTS
A Memorandum of Agreement was
made and entered between the Parole and Probation Administration -
Department of Jsutice (PPA-DOJ) thru the Community Services Division
(CSD) and the Block Rosary Crusade of the Parish of Our LAdy of Fatima
on January 21, 2011. The purpose of the partnership was for the
Block Rosary Crtusade to generate funds through raffle tickets,
publication of Soivenir Program and Luncheon Concert for the
construction of the Halfway House and Livelihood and Skills Training
Center in Region VI. This is a pioneering effort of the agency to build
a center that will serve as a venue for shaping the character of its
clients and will help pursue the mission of promoting their development
as integral persons and enhancing the quality of their lives as
law-abiding and productive citizens.
Regarding the raffle draw, the event was led by BRC President Benilda M. Excober wherein winners were awarded Php 10,000 (1st prize); Php 7,000 (2nd prize); Php 5,000(3rd prize) and Php 1,000(consolation prizes). The following were the winners, to wit:
1st prize - Mr. Lee Giberstson Montalbo
2nd prize - Ms. Mary Ann G. Navalta
3rd prize - Atty. Rommel Gabuya
4th prize - Ms. Lorelei May Mariano
Mr. Qumbal Gubat
Ms. Elda Pigar
Mr. Reynaldo Urbiztondo
Mr. Ricardo Dizon
Mr. Judimar Pundaodaya
Mr. Rey Alonzo
The Block Rosary Crusade of the PArish of Our Lady of Fatima was able to raise the amount of Php 331,800.75 as initial funds for the project.
