TOP MANAGEMENT CONDUCTS TC CONSULTATION WORKSHOP
To evaluate and
formulate policies on the recommendations resulting from the 2nd
National Therapeutic Community (TC) Enhancement Training, top
management of the Parole and Probation Administration (PPA) conducted a
TC Consultation Workshop last July 20-21, 2100 at the Hotel Indah in
Manila.
Participated in by all Regional and Assistant Regional Directors, chiefs of Central Office Divisions and staff units and members of the National TC Team, the consultation workshop aimed to formulate policies based on the recommendations submitted by two (2) batches of TC enhancement trainings, finalized the PPA-DOJ TC strategic plan for 2011-2016 and expressed commmitment to support and implement the said plan.
Prior to the workshop conducted, participants discussed issues and concerns arising from TC implementation such as personal values as TC implementors and organizational values and integration of TC in the probation and parole setting. The discussions were followed by a workshop wherein outputs and agreements were presented.
